Kacie Perez is an artist living and working in Seattle. With the Class of 2013, she graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology and a minor in Visual Arts. After teaching High School Science with Teach for America in the Rio Grande Valley, Texas, she completed a Post-Baccalaureate Residency in Visual Arts at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon. She completed her MFA candidacy at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. She, her partner, and her 1 year old daughter moved to Seattle in 2021 in search of new opportunity.
